5 rules of face-cleansing

Clean your face both in the morning and at night.

It can be hard to know how to properly clean your face. Should you use a face wash in the morning and at night? What about a scrub? And what about toner? Here are a few tips on how to clean your face both in the morning and at night: - In the morning, start by cleansing your face with a gentle face wash. This will remove any dirt or oil from your face.
- In the evening, start by cleansing your face with a gentle face wash, which will remove any dirt or oil from your face.
- Use a scrub once or twice a week to remove any dead skin cells.
- Use a toner after cleansing your face to help close your pores and remove any remaining dirt or oil.

Don't use face wipes!

We all know that face wipes are pretty terrible for our skin. They're loaded with chemicals, sulphates and other harsh ingredients that can really do a number on our skin. Not to mention, they're terrible for the environment. So what's the alternative? Well, there are loads of great options out there. For example, you could try using a natural face wash or a cleansing balm.

Use warm to lukewarm water.

There are a lot of benefits to using warm to lukewarm water for face cleaning. One of the most significant benefits is that it's much more gentle on your skin than hot water. Using hot water can be harsh and cause your skin to dry out. Another benefit of using warm to lukewarm water is that it loosens up the dirt and oil built up on your skin. When you use hot water, it can actually seal the dirt and oil in your pores, leading to acne breakouts. Finally, using warm to lukewarm water is a great way to get your skin ready for the day or for bed. If you're using it in the morning, it will help wake you up and get your blood flowing.

Don't apply face cleanser directly to dry skin.

When applying your face cleanser, don't forget to add water! It might seem like common sense, but many people mistake using their cleanser directly to their dry skin. Not only is this ineffective, but it can also cause irritation. Instead, add a small amount of water to your hands and mix it in with the cleanser before applying it to your face. This will help the cleaner break down the dirt and oils on your skin, and it will also be more gentle on your skin.

Always pet dry your face with a towel.

Don't rub your face; Drying your face with a towel is one of the best ways to remove excess water and sweat, but it's essential to do it the right way. Rubbing your face with a towel can cause skin irritation, so always blot your face dry instead. Start by folding a towel so that it's thick and has a lot of surface area. Then, hold the towel against your face and press down gently to absorb the water. If needed, you can use another towel to pat your face dry. Avoid rubbing your skin, as this can cause wrinkles over time.

Follow these simple tips every day, and you can see a change in your skin texture. Follow your skincare regime regularly. As we always say, consistency is the key.

Stay home, stay safe.
